There was so much going on with her in this one. So many emotional layers that she had to sort through -- not only with the case, but also within herself. The Bubley murders had been so emotionally taxing on everyone and Lilly saw too many parallels between Maeve and her own mother that it made her retreat. I loved the way she had to fight through it in order to solve the case. In the end, it was the fact that she could help one Bubley that made it all worth it.
