LillyKat's Open Letter to PTR Followers

By LillyKat
PTR Senior Staff Writer

So it's come down to this.

A Dear John letter (of sorts) to the loyal followers of PTR.

Call it my own personal Idaho feeling of not wanting to leave y'all wondering WTF happened to me.

And my shows.

As you may have noticed, I have recently been a wee bit absent covering all-things TV.

BJ and Co. did not get a welcome back.

Dollhouse has gone quietly into that good night and/or I forgot a) it was on; and, b) Summer Glau was guest-starring. (Since it's HAS been canceled and/or Fox is dumping most of the episodes as fast as they can, it's hard to get motivated to watch. Bummer ... as I really DID like this show. I'm 0 for 2 with Fox. Editor-in-Chief TVFan, however, is batting .1000)

And Dexter Morgan is going to have to have his showdown with the Trinity Killer without me.

Oh, if this were only early 2008.

Or 2007.

Back when we had an economy.

Our 401Ks.

Jobs.

As such, my time of late has been primarily focused on real life, not television. And, not surprisingly, I felt it important to let both readers and followers know that while I am still here and I still do love the tube, I've had to scale back my coverage here at PTR.

This, however, does NOT mean I'm going away.

Think of it as a leave of absence.

With an occasional two cents thrown in.

'Cause I still have SOME money left.

Somewhere.

Your absence has been noticed and you have been missed.

I can understand how life can get in the way of TV reviewing but will look forward to the occasional post and maybe when the economy rebounds to regular submissions.

Good luck, don’t forget us.
