Cold Case closes out its fifth season tonight with a haunting 2005 case of a child killed in a fire. Lilly and co. get involved after the child's mother, a former junkie, claims she saw her deceased son in a park. The episode also marks the return of Bobby Cannavale in a recurring role as a possible love interest for Lilly. When we last saw his Eddie Saccardo character, he was getting on Lil's nerves as he helped solve a cold case (he works narcotics) and charming her co-workers with food and beer. Cannavale is scheduled to return next season for at least 2 episodes (he's set to star in a new show for ABC premiering this fall as well).
