In support of NF Awareness month, honorary PTR Fave Annabeth Gish is participating in this year's Doodle Day (May 8th). She has contributed her own one-of-a-kind doodle to be put up for auction on eBay May 8th - 18th.
The funds from the auction will benefit NF, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing support to individuals and families affected by neurofibromatosis (NF). Neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder that affects one in every 2,500 births. NF is more common than Cystic Fibrosis, Muscular Dystrophy and Huntington’s Disease combined. Funds raised from the Doodle Day auction will go to support education, advocacy, coalitions, and research for treatments and a cure.
Annabeth's former X-Files co-star, Gillian Anderson, is NF, Inc.'s Honorary Spokesperson. She, along with Annabeth and the likes of Robin Williams, Goldie Hawn, Jeff Bridges, Scarlett Johansson, Ellen DeGeneres, Sela Ward, David Duchovny, Medium's Patricia Arquette, TV Guide's Michael Ausiello, Army Wives' Catherine Bell and Kim Delaney, and NCIS' Mark Harmon are just a few of the celebs lined up to participate in this year's Doodle Day.
