Bones star Emily Deschanel is featured on the cover of the June/July issue of Statement magazine. In the 8-page article, she discusses her decision to become a vegan and to live a more green lifestyle. But, she insists, she's not an activist. "The actors and crew ask me for advice on what to eat. I'm happy to share my thoughts, but I never lecture anyone on what they should do," she tells the magazine. She's also trying to do her part for the environment including updating her duplex (which she shares with sister and fellow actress Zooey Deschanel) to be more earth friendly and forgoing chic Hollywood designer labels for organic ones and vintage pieces instead.
