'Dexter' Wins Peabody Award

By LillyKat

Score another one for Dex.

Showtime's critically acclaimed original series, Dexter, has earned a 2007 Peabody Award. The Peabodys are given out for broadcasting excellence in both news and entertainment - and we know how excellent Dex is, don't we?

We might also mention that the The Peabodys are given out by The Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at The University of Georgia, which just so happens to be PTR's Editor-in-Chief, TVFan, alma mater.

Now how's that for a co-inky-dink?

This win, like last year's Friday Night Lights win, makes me proud to be an alum. :-)
