'Scrubs' Gets Private Practice Envy

The funny thing about Scrubs is, well, everything! Except, of course, when the show gives us its more serious side such as Carla's post partum depression. Watching her go through it is enough to give any non-mother pause, and that's why the story line works so well. It raises awareness about a serious problem, and it emphasizes the importance of getting help. You've gotta love a show that can make you laugh out loud and then make you think the way this ones does. And on the laughing side, the night's funniest moment came when Jordan entered the hospital and everything began shaking as if she were one of those gigantic evil creatures from a monster movie. You've gotta love the juxtaposition of Jordan the Monster and Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely." We also got new luxury suites at Sacred Heart, JD passing off Keith's body as his own with phone pictures to Kim, Elliot passing off her patients now that she's in private practice, the "Coxian" tone, Janitor and Dr. Cox teaming up to share the new luxury suite, "The Turks," Dr. Cox talking in text message short hand, JD's coconut scented hair, and web cam fun with Kim, JD, Elliot and Dr. Kelso. As usual, we also had our share of funny lines, so here's a look at last night's best, funniest and all around awesome lines in this week's edition of the Scrubies.

The Scrubies
"Well, there were two treatment options. When in doubt, I always go in the opposite direction of you." Dr. Cox to Elliot after she asked why he didn't follow her directions

"I know as a doctor disease is supposed to be the enemy, but I'm giving hepatitis and his band of infectious buddies a pass and I'm coming after you today." Dr. Cox to Elliot after he declared her the enemy for switching to private practice

"Ever since Jordan entered her third trimester, she has become a needy, bloated behemoth with a temper as big as her tree-trunk sized cankles." Dr. Cox to JD on why he doesn't want to go home

"Nice singlet. Does it come in hetero?" JD to Keith after Keith whipped out his high school wrestling uniform

"Or taking advice from a big Hollywood movie star and the dead science fiction writer he worships. You need to get some help." Jordan to Carla on her PPD

"If you talk again, I'm going to eat you!" Jordan to Turk after he kept interrupting her one-on-one with Carla about PPD
