Friday Night Lights (8 p.m. NBC) - "Little Girl I Wanna to Marry You." Smash's mom (guest star Liz Mikel) discovers something in Smash's (Gaius Charles) room that can potentially destroy his dreams of playing football. Tyra (Adrianne Palicki), fed up with her mother's insecurities, decides to take matters into her own hands to get their life back on track. Meanwhile, Jason (Scott Porter) rethinks the seriousness of his relationship with Lyla (Minka Kelly) after Bud (Brad Leland) sets her up on a date. Medium (10 p.m. NBC) - "Better Off Dead." Allison's (Emmy winner and Golden Globe nominee Patricia Arquette) latest visions reveal an odd new friendship between two ghosts, and surprisingly one of the men rebuffs her attempts to determine the identity of his killer.

*'s Mike Ausiello has some scooptastic news today about a beloved Everwood alum and a hit ABC show. In addition to former Everwood showrunner Greg Berlanti running things on ABC's newest hit Brother and Sisters and alum Treat Williams' guest spot, another Everwood alum is joining the production. Look for Emily VanCamp (the fabulous Amy Abbott) to play the role of Rebecca in upcoming episodes.
