'Scrubs' Channels 'House'

Sure, the Christmas trees, presents, lights and eggnog are an awesome way to pass the holiday season, but you have to admit, having your favorite shows back is even better! I've been spending the week trying to wind down from the craziness that is the holidays and get back into my TV routine, but last night's great episode of Scrubs was just what I needed to get right back into it. So many funny moments, so little time to type! We had an entire episode that paid homage to Fox's House (complete with an even more cantakerious than usual Dr. Cox, a limp with a cane, and medical mysteries), Elliot's last day as she moved across the hall to private practice, Janitor's business cards, JD naming a star "FreckleFart90" for Kim and her loving it, Ted going down after getting hit with a paintball (one of the show's Funniest. Moments. Ever!!), JD's romantic leg curl, JD's assertion that he and Dr. Cox are teammates, the kitten cure, and an exaggerated romantic finale. And these antics were just the beginning because there were plenty of funny lines as well. Here's a look at last night's best, funniest and all around awesome lines in this week's edition of the Scrubies.

The Scrubies
"Look, I know you all curl up on your futons at night dreaming of cracking a real-life medical mystery so that some doctor-slash-supermodel will want to touch your eruption button." Dr. Cox to his interns after they referenced television doctors

"Chin up you ugly bastard." Dr. Cox to one of his interns

"You're like a prostitute that gets paid up front then bolts from the restaurant after dinner." Dr. Kelso to Elliot after she left for private practice

"Don't say hate, Ghandi. You kids throw that word around so much it's lost all of its meaning. Now, I have to find a word stronger than hate to describe how I feel about others.... I mega-loathe you all." Dr. Cox to Turk

"Wouldn't I be a great spokesperson for things?!" JD after picturing himself as a spokesperson for kitten therapy

That's this week's edition of the Scrubies. If you have a line that you would like to nominate for a Scrubie, drop me a comment and I'll publish it in a future edition. As always, if you would like to discuss last night's Scrubs episode, leave me a comment with your thoughts. If you missed last night's hilarious outing, check it out on iTunes.
