Thursday's News & Notes: Fox Says Bye-Bye to 'The O.C.'

*The Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations are out this morning, and the casts of 24, Boston Legal, Deadwood, Grey's Anatomy, The Sopranos, Desperate Housewives, Entourage, The Office, Ugly Betty and Weeds have reason to celebrate. The shows will compete in the respective drama and comedy category for Best Ensemble Cast. Kyra Sedgwick, Patricia Arquette, Mariska Hargitay, Jaime Pressly, America Ferrera, Hugh Laurie, Kiefer Sutherland, Jason Lee and Alec Baldwin are among the lead acting nominess. *And finally, USA Network is the most watched cable channel of 2006 thanks to original programming (The 4400, Psych, Monk, The Dead Zone), network series reruns (Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: CI), and WWE Monday Night Raw. A look at what PTR is watching tonight

Scrubs (9 p.m. NBC) - "My House." Dr.Cox (John C. McGinley) channels TV doctor 'House' to solve three mysteries including; why a man's skin is inexplicably orange, why a young woman, with no coronary issues has a failing heart and why Elliot (Sarah Chalke) is taking her anger towards Dr. Kelso (Ken Jenkins) out on Turk (Donald Faison). Meanwhile, J.D. (Zach Braff) tries to be the 'best boyfriend ever' so that Kim (Elizabeth Banks) won't take the job elsewhere.

My Name is Earl (NBC 8 p.m.) - "Our 'Cops' is On." It's the end of the week at the Crab Shack - the beer is finished, the food is finished, and everyone is bored. When "Cops" comes on, everybody notices it's the Camden County episode they were all featured in. Earl (Jason Lee), Randy (Ethan Suplee), Joy (Jaime Pressly), Darnell (Eddie Steeples), Patty the Daytime Hooker (Dale Dickey) and other Camden County residents relive that one eventful day when they all had a brush with the law - on television.

CSI (CBS 9 p.m.) - "Leaving Las Vegas." Catherine is determined to connect an out-of-town killing to a recently released Las Vegas murder suspect in an attempt to bring him to justice. Meanwhile, Grissom says goodbye to his colleagues and heads east for a teaching sabbatical. Alan Rosenberg ("The Guardian"), real-life husband of series star Marg Helgenberger, reprises his role as tough talking lawyer Adam Novak.

Sad news for the OC. I heard they are going to wrap things up at least. Great new for USA!! Although not surprising. Monk and Psych start up again pretty soon. I can't wait!
