Vanished (Friday 8 p.m. Fox) - "Aftermath." This show finally returns (on a new night and time) from hiatus. The mystery continues after the shocking events that transpired when Senator Collins visited Washington, DC, for Judge Wallace Rainers confirmation hearing and Agent Graham Kelton was gunned down and killed. While Judy Nash reports on the shocking and fatal shooting incident, newcomer Agent Daniel Lucas joins Agents Mei and Tyner in the investigation into Sara Collins baffling disappearance

SUNDAY
Cold Case (Sunday 9 p.m. CBS) - "The Key." Detective Jeffries' rookie murder case in 1979 is re-opened when evidence is found close to where the body of the woman was originally located. Jeffries made a promise to the victim's daughter, Helen, to find her mother's killer and now, armed with new evidence, he is more determined than ever to close the case and bring the murderer to justice. (VCR/TiVo Alert: may be delayed due to football)

The Amazing Race (Sunday 8 p.m. CBS) - "He Can't Swim, But He Can Eat Cow Lips." The game's newest twist shocks the racers and forces rival teams to set aside their differences and work together. One team starts the leg with a huge handicap and will need to pull out all the stops in order to stay in the game. (VCR/TiVo Alert: may be delayed due to football)

Desperate Housewives (Sunday 9 p.m. ABC) - "Bang." Everyone's lives on Wisteria Lane are forever changed when a hostage situation occurs at a local supermarket.
