FRIDAY
Vanished (Friday 8 p.m. Fox) - "The New World." When Senator Collins delivers a press conference to address the speculation swirling around his vote on Judge Wallace Rainer as a justice of the Supreme Court, Marcy struggles with developments involving Judge Rainer, and Agents Mei and Lucas investigate leads that uncover new clues to the conspiracy.

Men in Trees (Friday 9 p.m. ABC) - "The Menaissance." Unbeknownst to Marin, Jane leaked an excerpt from Marin's new book on men to The New Yorker magazine. Now Marin is forced to defend her career to Jack, the unwilling subject of her work. Meanwhile singer-songwriter Jewel stops into the Chieftain when her car breaks down, and runs into Theresa, who turns out to be her former bandmate, and Patrick's mom, Celia and his new step-mother, Mai, go head to head in an alpha showdown for the role of "top mom."


SATURDAY
5 Takes (Saturday 10 p.m. Travel Channel) - The TJs travel to our nation's capitol -- Washington DC -- for some trick-or-treating.


SUNDAY
Cold Case (Sunday 9 p.m. CBS) - "Fireflies." When a mailman is found dead in his home, several bags of undelivered mail are discovered, including a letter postmarked 31 years ago and is now a major piece of evidence in the 1975 case involving a missing girl. The Amazing Race (Sunday 8 p.m. CBS) - "Being Polite Sucks Sometimes." The teams are faced with a challenging Roadblock that will test the racers' ability to stay calm in a claustrophobic setting, while one racer struggles to overcome their fear of heights. Desperate Housewives (Sunday 9 p.m. ABC) - "Children and Art." Gabrielle decides to get back into the world of modeling, Lynette is suspicious of her new neighbor and Bree meets her antagonistic mother-in-law. Dixie Carter guest stars as Gloria Hodge.




Without a Trace (Sunday 10 p.m. CBS) - "Win Today." Though Jack's team thinks he's undercover at an illegal poker club frequented by the missing young man they are seeking, Jack is actually the hostage of a cold-blooded woman. Susanna Thompson ("Once and Again," "Dragonfly") guest stars as Jack's volatile abductor, Cynthia Neuwirth. (VCR/TiVo Alert: may be delayed due to football)
