Here's a look at today's biggest TV news, the weekend's hottest programs and last night's biggest ratings winners.

QUICK CUTS
*Sara Evans is dropping out of ABC's Dancing with the Stars. The country singer announced her decision yesterday, the same day that she also announced the end of her 13-year marriage to Craig Schelske. The couple has 3 children together. Now word yet from ABC or Stars on how the show will deal with her early departure. Evans will appear one more time on the competition this Tuesday, October 17th on ABC.

Cold Case (Sunday 9 p.m. CBS) - "Baby Blues." Charged with the emotional task of finding a baby's killer, Lilly re-opens the 1982 case involving a baby who died of SIDS under a cloud of suspicion. Be sure to stay tuned during the commercial breaks to see series stars Kathryn Morris and Danny Pino debut their new CBS Cares PSAs for Post Partum Depression. The Amazing Race (Sunday 8 p.m. CBS) - "I Covered His Mouth, Oh My Gosh!" Tension escalates as one racer's slower pace causes their team to miss a bus. One racer tries to align with another team, offering to lead them to a travel agency where they may obtain help racing to the next destination. Trying to be practical jokers, one team pretends to make flight reservations on a fake cell phone while another racer gets nervous and borrows a local's cell phone to make actual reservations. Desperate Housewives (Sunday 9 p.m. ABC) - "Like it Was." Susan receives some surprising news while she's away on a romantic weekend with Ian, Lynette continues to try and support the family while Tom chases his dreams, and Bree finds her family is anything but perfect.



Without a Trace (Sunday 10 p.m. CBS) - "All for One." The team searches for a 15-year-old prisoner who disappears from a girls detention center after she receives a life threatening note. (VCR/TiVo Alert: may be delayed due to football)
